Sales Data inputer tutorial

The Sales Data Inputer is responsible for creating loads in the Dispatch module based on Contracted Lines. When a new load is received, the Data Inputer follows these steps:

1. Navigate to Dispatch Module:

   • Go to the Dispatch module in Helix.
     
     
     

2. Create New Load:

   • Click on the "Create" button to initiate a new load in Helix.
     
     
     

3. Fill Essential Load Information:

   • Enter all necessary load details like:
     1. Color Scheme - Green;
     2. Customer/Broker;
     3. Broker Load number;
     4. Division;
     Please note that Pickup and Delivery locations will be automatically populated from the Contracted Line when you click Save.
     
     
     

4. Contracted Loads Check:

   • In the Specific Information section, use the "Contracted Loads" check to open an additional window.
     
     
     
     

5. Enter Additional Information:

   • Provide the following information:
     • Lane (Choose from all Lines created for the selected Broker)
     • Sales Agent
     • Click "Save" (Trailer Cost Per Load, Sale Fee, and Net Worth will be auto-filled at this point).
       
       
       

6. Edit and Enter Base Price:

   • Click the "Edit" button and enter the Base Price.
     
     
     

7. Save Changes:

   • Click "Save" to complete the load creation process.

Now, the dispatcher can manage this load like any other, streamlining the workflow for load creation and ensuring accurate data input.
