Trailer change assignation

Here is how assignations works

1) When you creating a trip System will pull up existing trailer which assign to your truck in field Trailer 1

This mean that you will go from previous trip delivery location to first pickup location with this trailer.

If you will change trailer in field Trailer 1 system will put additional stop between Last trip delivery and firs pickup (Trailer Pickup Location) and will calculate empty miles to last known location of that trailer.

2) If you planning to exchange trailer on pickup (In this example drop A1103 and Pickup 111_TPT) you need to choose that trailer in “Change trailer” Field on Pickup line.

This assignation become active when you will put trip from stage Dispatched to In Progress. System will drop Trailer 1 on the location of the pickup and will remove trailer 111_TPT from Pickup location.

3) If you planning to exchange trailer on delivery (In this example drop 111_TPT and Pickup A1014) you need to choose that trailer in “Change trailer” Field on Delivery line.

This assignation become active when you will put trip from stage In Progress to Delivered. System will drop Trailer 1 on the location of the delivery and will remove trailer A1014 from Delivery location.
